Terms and Conditions GROUP BOOKING

Booking confirmation: Exclusive venue use: 100% food deposit required to confirm booking within 14 days of tentative booking made.

 

Non-exclusive venue use: A deposit of $10 per person is required for bookings of 10 guests and over to confirm within 14 days of tentative booking made.  
Final numbers chargeable must be confirmed 24 hours prior to your reservation.

Final Payment: Cash or all major credit cards are accepted. Please note we do not split bills.

 

Cancellations: All other bookings, provided 1 month notice is given, a full refund of your deposit will be given. 2 weeks prior- 50% refund. 7 days prior you will forfeit your deposit.

 

Restaurant Opening Times: 7 days; Lunch - 12:00noon, Dinner - 6:00pm

 

Function Times: The client acknowledges that our Liquor License ends at midnight and as such the service of alcohol will conclude at 11.30pm. All functions during the day are to conclude before 4.00pm.

 

Access to the venue is restricted to the above times unless by prior agreement.

 

Responsible Service of Alcohol: The Restaurant upholds the principles of Responsible Service of Alcohol and in accordance with the Liquor License, reserves the right to refuse service to persons suspected of being under the age of eighteen years and to any person who shows signs of intoxication.

 

Prohibition on Food & Beverage: Food and Beverage may not be brought into, or removed from the venue without the prior consent of the Management of The Restaurant.

 

Please advise prior to booking if you are providing a celebratory cake. Cakeage fee applies: $3 per person for us to cut and serve, or $6 per person with berries and cream.

 

Beverages: The Restaurant is fully licensed, no BYO. We recommend you pre-order wines 14 working days prior to your event, to ensure we have sufficient stock.

 

Surcharges: Saturday surcharge- $2.00 per person, Sunday surcharge $3.00 per person, Public Holiday surcharge $6.50 per person.

 

Noise Management: Guests are at all times to follow the direction of management in relation to the noise and music levels at functions and agree that they and their guests will leave the venue in an orderly and quiet manner without disturbing our neighbours.

 

Damages: Organisers are financially responsible for any damages or loss sustained to The Cowrie Restaurant during the course of a function.

 

Menus: All menus are subject to change. No other discount or card offer is available on our set menus. Please notify us prior to your booking if there are any special dietary requirements. Children’s menu available at $25 per child (12 years and under).

 

Special Requests and Entertainment: We will do our best to accommodate your needs, please note some items may be subject to availability. Entertainment within the restaurant is subject to licensing conditions.
